President Paul Geer called the December monthly meeting to order 17:34hrs.
The November Monthly meetings were read and accepted.
Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
Officers and Committees:
Grievance Committee-. Nothing to report
Safety Committee- Traffic lights at new station, still pending. Hydrant survey markers- ok for us to install
Retirement Dinner – Approx 158 people attended all went well
Toys for Tots – December 15, 2011 to December 17, 2011 Members need to step up
United Way – Paul Geer took over, will be visiting stations.
Pension – $334,836,000.00 at end of October.
Awards Ceremony – nothing
Christmas Party – Deadline passed for submitting kids.
Bylaws- Nothing to report.
Workers Comp- Department physicals and departure physicals should be followed up on.
President Report – Meeting Friday with City for negotiations with new Mayor and team.
-Shipment to members overseas.
-New E-board and committee members.
-Santa on the Green went well.
-Toys-for-Tots at Mason’s hall went well.
-Commissioner’s response to “Chief survey”- met under executive session at meeting, then adjourned. Discussion followed.
-President Geer’s “Farewell” address.
