President Michael Dunn called the November monthly meeting to order 1730hrs.

The October Monthly meetings were read and accepted. Rabel, Gavin. Unanimous.

Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

Officers and Committees:

Grievance Committee: No Changes. Same Grievances pending.

Safety Committee: Info on new quint for longer steps to remove ladders.

  Tree at 5s.

United Way:

Pension: Tom Piskura is going to step down- seeking a replacement, Possibly F. Murphy.

Awards Ceremony:

Worker's Comp:

Retirement Diner: Postponed to January 25th at Villa Bianca. Money must be handed in with sign-up.

Toys for Tots: December 22.Truck the 20th. Fill the boot Wednesday Night (21st) w/ Bocchetta.

Durham Schools. Stuff a Bus at Law/Foran game 9-12 & Stop & Shop East Town Rd 12/8 9-4

12/1 Lions Club Drive at the mall. Dinner 12/2

Kids Christmas Party: December 8th instead of 15th. Please email Waiksnoris with kids names/ages.

President's Report: Bid sheets- a lot of confusion. Heenan and Ricci in with Chief's today- will explain under new business. Bump in Bid no matter what.

Contract approved, but still not signed. Retro checks will be after it is signed by both parties.

Storm Sandy had a lot of questions regarding scheduling and hiring. Usual problems that arise with significant emergencies. Unfortunately, it's being considered typical and allowable and very little can be changed. Dedicated phone line set up for union members' families. All members volunteering to help with food/water distribution got hired for OT when they reported- discussed with Acting Chief Healey.

AC Healey appointed Acting Chief by BoFC. Working on application process. Issues will be handled as they arise the best they can.

A lot of promotions- no knowledge of grievances or lawsuits for test. New test info is out.

Not likely any detail positions next year.

Channel 8 requested firehouse cooks. Holinko & Hall going December 6th.

Still no information on new station. Apparently no house lights installed.

Motion by Whitbread not to extend invite to honor Chief LaVecchia this year. 2nd by Gavin. Discussion. Motion passed 14-1.
