President Michael Dunn called the October monthly meeting to order 1730hrs.

Officers and Committees:

President's Report: Negotiations over, Union was in arbitration- City maintained communications to reach TA. Almost 100% turnout for voting. Going to Aldermen 11/9/12. After ratification will establish contract language.

Pension due in June, may opt not to supply letter to negotiate terms and leave it as it is.

Pink shirts out, doing well- almost 300 shirts. Please get IOUs in ASAP.

A lot of turmoil within the department. No answers available.

Grievance Committee: Ricci at state, Andy at state, Paul Geer filed as well.

Talaniec appointed to replace Hansen

Safety Committee:

United Way: Need new contact

Motion by Wydra to allow all e-board involved with negotioations and significant others to have dinner on Union, Donegan 2nd, Unanimous.

Motion by Wetmore (via Heenan) to donate $100 annually to provide flowers for 9/11 memorial. 2nd Whitbread, Unanimous.

Hilliard stepped down, Kyer appointed- up for 2-year spot. Kyer Nominated by Heenan, 2nd by Wydra

G. O'Brien position open for 3 years on grievance. Re-nominated by AJ Murphy, 2nd by Donegan

Daytime Eboard- Fino. Fino re-nominated by Geno, 2nd by Whitbread

3-year eboard -Gil. spot. Wydra nominated by Whitbread, 2nd by Gavin. AJ Murphy by Ricci, 2nd by Gavin. Gil re-nominated by Ricci, 2nd by Wydra. Wydra withdrew his nomination.

Motion to honor 944 member retirees at holiday party by Wydra, 2nd by Whitbread. Unanimous

Question raised regarding possible Car 1 retirement, should he be invited to retirement dinner? Discussion. Held off until confirmation.

Question of venue regarding capacity with large retirement. Contact Captain Wetmore with suggestions.

New station update hopefully at commissioners meeting.

New antenna at 6s.
