President Michael Dunn called the December monthly meeting to order 1730hrs.

The November Monthly meetings were read and accepted. Gavin, Gil, Unanimous

Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

Officers and Committees:

Grievance Committee: Status Quo. Cars grievance tabled for 30 days.

Safety Committee: "Failed air pack" report back- showed no fault in pack.

            Steps on quint possibly being replaced.

            Clothes dryers coming to all stations when money is acquired.

United Way: Still needs someone

Pension: Piskura stepping down, anyone interested step-up. Maybe Murphy or Gavin

Awards Ceremony:

Bylaws:

Santa on the Green: Big success. Connolly stepped down, Hessberger taking over.

Worker's Comp:

Retirement Diner: January 25th, need retirees address labels

Toys for Tots: 12/19-22. Need volunteers.

Children's Christmas Party: 12/8. Get names and ages in.

President's Report: Retro Checks, delayed without signed contract. City Attorney said tied up with end-of-year work. "Working on it"

A lot of changes with Acting Chief Healey. Don't discuss anything with Chris Bierswirth.

Stratford got 24/72s last night (12/1)

Toys for Tots needs volunteers, starting to dwindle in recent years.

12/14 meeting with city attorney to discuss language.

Adele not doing well. On heart transplant list. Rumrunners doing show at Z's corner cafe in WH.

Sick child in town ~9yo, wanted to be fireman. Needs treatments at Yale, wanted to try to bring him there on fire truck. Still working out details.

Per Capitas must go up, due to increase in UPFFA and IAFF dues. Currently not being covered.

New Business

Andy announced Sound Tigers game 12/26 against Hartford Whale. $15, Center ice seats. Also to FDNY/CT FF game. Needs a head count by 12/15. Motion by Gavin for union to cover half of ticket costs, 2nd by Gil. Unanimous.

Dean Smith's house was severely damaged in storm. Looking for ways to help, see what he needs. Anyone with information please contact E-Board member.

Thank you to those who helped with storm relief. Thank you letter to be sent to Dinosaurs for help throughout storm.

Secretary casts one vote for all unopposed officers. Gavin, Hannigan. Unanimous
