Wydra expressed need to stay vigilant through changes, especially now. Morale needs improvement with guys having outings and family oriented activities, as well as department activities with newer guys. Also likely retiring February 8th. Dunn reiterated need for return of camaraderie as well as cutting back on negative comments, overwhelming concern with OT and Garcia, public postings, firehouse postings, negative ball-breaking; need to start having member get-togethers again. Hall added to senior guys no longer bringing probies in to explain "mandatory" volunteering at events and taking in to explain how life in fire house is supposed to work. Stacoffe volunteered to head something up.
Adele got a new heart the night of the benefit concert, back home recovering.
Waiksnoris mentioned possibility of taking transport license from AMR would be good step for department/union.
