President's Report: Working on day staff schedules and retirement calculations with City between Debra Kelly and Chief Edo. Meeting seemed to work everything out, but City has yet to make anything official. Edo to meet with Mayor Blake this week or next.

Uniforms will be measured/ordered December 4th & 5th. Try to make the appointments, or will need to go to Horowitz on own time. Uniform policy being reviewed per Chief Edo between BC Begley, Heenan and Marty. Certain Officers have issues with specific articles, especially hats; until the policy is adjusted stick to the current policy as is. Grooming policy has also been brought up at staff meeting. Stay within guidelines, shave if ordered and address it later.

Sandy Ground Project is still going. New London opened, Bridgeport, New Jersey and New York are due up. Ours is tentatively scheduled for March, trying to schedule construction near birthdays of dedicatee children. 14 completed already. Looking into logistics for crews. Not many Fire Departments have been out to help with construction, MFD will be working with Newtown EMS. ANyone interested in helping email Dunn.

Met with Mayor Blake, E-Board opted to abstain from endorsing either candidate as usual. Worthwhile meeting with Mayor and exchange of information regarding EMS billing and budget returns/cuts.

Bids out. Change between 5s & 6s, 5s will be a quint- has been approved and being bid for. Chief has the options with personnel and apparatus. Medics who do not bid the medic spot will NOT receive the bonus. LTs will, but are not required to be replaced as long as there is a medic.
