President Michael Dunn called the December monthly meeting to order 1730hrs.

Social Committee: June 21st as of now at Eisenhower. Committee will meet in January to work out details and work on new attractions.
Santa on Green: Survived again, thanks to everyone for showing up and helping.
Retirement Diner: Friday. ~130 attendees
Toys for Tots: Toys arrive 19th, give-away 21st
Christmas Party: Get names/ ages in.
Golf Outing: Going well, will organize more after first of year.
Pub Crawl: Went well, bus & driver were donated. Tipped out of funds. Outside bars were slow, but mostly went well.
President's Report: New AFLAC rep was in.
Day staff issues have not been changed yet, City Attorney does not feel it's a pressing issue.
Uniform orders will be the same as in the past shorts are available.

Motion by Brandon Edo to make James Mattioli an honorary member of Local 944, 2nd by Brian Connelly. Discussion regarding legality with By-Laws and Atwood's/Robert's Rules to suspend By-Law and vote on acceptance.
Motion by Brandon Edo to suspend Article III, subsecton 3 regarding honorary membership voting. 2nd by Brian Connolly. Unanimous.
Motion for James Mattioli honorary membership re-submitted. Unanimous.
Motion by Brandon Edo for $150 to make plaque for James' family at Christmas.. 2nd by Mark Rose. Discussion regarding potential conflict with symbolism behind gifting of retirees plaques for time served. Discussion of different types/styles for plaque. President Dunn offered to pay for gift. Motion for $150 withdrawn. Discussion to present to family at unveiling of playground. Will table for further discussion.
Motion to honor retired members at dinner this Friday by Dunn, 2nd by Gavin. Unanimous.
