President Michael Dunn called the April monthly meeting to order 1735hrs.

Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.

The March monthly meeting minutes were read and accepted. Talaniec, Kasper, Unanimous

Pension: Meetings will start in May, Murph will be brought in on negotiations.

Social Committee: Picnic moved from June 21st to 22nd for Pizza truck. Brother Sean is trying to organize a "band" or some people to play music. Need people to help set up in the morning. Train to Rumrunners in the City Thursday. Contact Stacoffe.

Easter Egg Hunt: WEnt very well, everyone had a good time. About25 kids.

Retirement Diner: Looking for new committee. Email will be sent.

Dunk Tank: One inquiry for donation from Leukemia & Lymphoma Society so far.

Golf: Planning is going well. Please get money in ASAP to Lucky, 7's or Eboard. Volunteers needed (Morning/afternoon/all day) contact Ricci. Wives & girlfriends ok, no kids please.

President's Report: Negotiations started with ground rules meeting. Have not been completed yet, but put in request to be able to keep negotiations open with membership.

Actuary report is in and being reviewed, Mike Ryan is helping to review the report.

EMS billing has started- so far made about $3,000. Any issues please see Todd Ricci.

Playground build went well, next one is Mystic.

Special training and extended times are being worked out.

Brown & Brown contract is terminating in three months, board has decided not to renew another contract as it has not been useful or up to what they had promised.

May Day drills being conducted on portables and trucks to include all members and dispatchers. Bugs being worked out.

Please monitor facebook posts, or just stop all together, to exclude alcohol from pictures relating to department. Members can be disciplined or fired if in uniform and representing the department in an inappropriate manner.

Award ceremony in next week, was sort of rushed- please take it as it is. Swearing in and promotions as well. Trying to rebuild it to be more meaningful.

Gaffney still on light duty

Gil still on light duty- evaluation for work hardening for 3 weeks.

New guys seem to be doing well.

Will be bringing a check to Mystic for Sandy Ground. Paid for our build.

Treasurer's Report

Read by Heenan, accepted by Gavin, Biroscak. Unanimous

New Business

Chili Cook-off on the 26th. Cooking on the 25th. Request by Gil for $100 for ingredients. Motion by Gavin, 2nd Biroscak. Unanimous

Jonathan Law Post Prom, Motion by Gil for $100, 2nd by Gavin, Unanimous

Kasper motion for donation to all charity hockey tournament we had to back out of for lack of participation. Motion for $200, 2nd by Donegan. Unanimous.

Softball starts next Thursday. Union members get dibs over non-members.

Pension negotiations are probably going to be a battle, but we will try to keep the membership informed as best we can.

Overtime policies are being discussed. Committees are being formed to address the practices and will be discussed as progress develops.

Concerns noted regarding forcing junior member with least experience into acting lieutenant positions. Members expressed concerns for safety when junior members are appointed to acting positions without the leadership or experience necessary to properly fulfill the duties of the position. Union understands and has argued same points with administrations.

Milford Yankees request $500 for sponsorship (umpire fees, etc). Motion by Biroscak, 2nd by Stacoffe. Unanimous
