President's Report: Retired FF Rizzo passed away due to complications from stroke the other day.

A lot of rumors flying about Tower moving, full-time R2, etc. Chief has brought up removing ALS position from E6 due to call volume not being where it was expected. Removal of position would be bump in bid and medics under commitment would have to finish out on medic unit.

Transporting on hold for now due to AMR appealing decision at State. Mayor still unwilling to increase minimum manpower to accommodate two full-time medic units.

Seeman's Lane facility being discussed as new maintenance facility.

Bob Staurovsky was sent his retirement papers after being out nine (9) months- per contract. Will see where it goes.

Keith (new maintenance supervisor) is taking over until they can make his position permaent.

New Business

B. Edo- regards to retirement dinner, could we do better to honor retirees so they don't have to buy all tickets. New proposal to give up to six (6) tickets for immediate family members: i.e. spouse/significant other and kids. 2nd, AJ. Discussion- removed cap to leave number to executive board's discretion. Unanimous.

Dunn, AJ & Lucky attended Foxwoods UPFFA Convention workshops and seminars. Our district is losing secretary/treasurer of IAFF- position to be voted on in 2016 Vegas convention. Three candidates put in, lengthy vote led UPFFA to endorse Ed Kelly of Boston. Motion by Lucky to send him letter of endorsement, 2nd by AJ, Luciano elaborated on meeting and candidates- believed Kelly to stand out above other two and would be better suited to position. Unanimous.
