President Michael Dunn called the February monthly meeting to order 1730hrs.

Grievance Committee: Nothing new currently. Two pending at State, few in works.
Safety Committee: Nothing new
United Way:
Pension: 12/31/2012- $328.512 million >10% increase over prior year.
Awards Ceremony: BoFC still wants one- nothing in works yet.

Social Committee: Stacoffe looking into Union Picnic- Eisenhower Park (?). Looking into costs & logistics- any weekend in June/July open.
Paintball wars, Bluefish Games, Bowling night, Norwalk Field House- Ropes course/ Rock climbing, Boston trip-Fenway, Duck Tours, Breweries, Historical tours, Quassy, Lake Compounce, Fishing Tournament
Retirement Diner: Went well. Good times.
St. Patrick's Day Float: Patriotic Theme, Blaise will need help building and parade Day.
President's Report: Lt. list finally out and confirmed, will be valid March 20th.
Stations 5 & 6 in process of moving to new station
Winter Storm Nemo created some issues with OT, relief from shift, working out issues- please inform union rep of any issues.
Uniforms still delayed, Captain Brotherton is working on getting them out
Chief's application is online, buried in City website. In BoFC's hands now. Union can voice concerns to BoFC.
Acting Chief Healey has denied hiring of Honor Guard for anything- City will pay if they want anything. Possibly eliminating special team(s). Also measured for uniforms instead of hiring back BC of finance/logistics
Contract due to be signed by City
Vehicle policy submitted by AC Healey to commissioners without Union review- will be grieved if necessary. As well as others possibly pending- including members acting out of job descriptions.
R2 has been cut from OT shifts.
Jack Geary turned down promotion to return to floor.
Any issues/concerns please contact a union rep instead of starting or propagating rumors.
Voluntary shoveling was mayor's plan- disregard of FD shoveling throughout storm. PD showed on duty.

Question about stance on BoFC eliminating agility test. Union in disagreement, but little can be said at BoFC meetings without being asked.
No February weigh-ins this year.
City requested opening Pension contract. Trying to roll it for at least a year.
