President's Report: Pension contract language supposed to be done on Thursday.

UPFFA meeting today- per capita increased $0.31 per person/month. Current dues are becoming  insufficient to run the Union. May have to increase membership dues to a flat rate as raises are not high enough to cover operating costs. Trying to hold off as long as possible and determine minimal increase that would be effective.

Chief Edo and AC Baker solely responsible for successful negotiations with City regarding the pension contract with last minute meeting. Pension TA will be out ASAP (after Thursday).

UPFFA working on budget at state for vehicle maintenance. Want to come in to speak with union regarding their role. Also trying to put together healthcare trust with Rob Fitzpatrick. Will bring it to us when final draft gets approved. Working on state pension plan, also. Will also be made available when it's ready for review. Our pension is in great shape, other cities are not fairing as well and may benefit from this.

Brought up the cops are screwing FDs all the time by settling for worse deals and promoting parity.

Medical screening people may be brought in to enhance services during annual physicals. More in depth look into heart and arteries. Also available to come in to firehouse to discuss diet & cooking.

All bid sheets in, Chief believes it is done, just needs to be reviewed and approved.

Holiday party this Friday. Please take advantage of sober shuttle if you feel you may need it. Make arrangements with Brett for pick up/ drop off location. Commissioners offered invite to come to dinner. Please be respectful and cognizant of their presence if they come. Say hello, refrain from politics. Any negative impressions will reflect poorly on Chief Edo. Same goes for Mayor if he shows.
