President Michael Dunn called the May monthly meeting to order 1733hrs.
Pledge of Allegiance to the flag.
The previous month's meeting minutes were suspended- O'Neil, 2nd Hannigan, unanimous.
Representative and Goodwill Ambassador for MDA spoke about the foundation- organized by Stacoffe.

Safety Committee: Summer coming. SOP for weather
MDA: Presentation today. Boot drives coming up- one per shift- on Friday afternoons (1-2/2:30). 12th & 19th of June and next two in September. Hasn't been done in Milford for about 7-8 years. Edo backing the drive 100%. Will have signs and stickers for people making donations. Looking at intersections/areas to stage companies. Dates/times will be adjusted for weather if necessary.

Golf: 26th. 18 foursomes, 1 threesome, everything in and set as of today. Active members and other departments have been great, not as many retirees playing this year. Final numbers, flags, sponsorships are in. Slight hiccup with beverage cart- Oronoque employee will be in charge. Be smart about it. Club has been great and accommodating. If we lose them, cost of tournament will go up.

President's Report: Cancer Bill making its way back to legislation. Looking for members to support it up at the Capital.
Overtime becoming an issue again, so far only one complaint in writing. Always seems to be human error, but persists with no repercussions.
Probationary Firefighter George in attendance, will be returning to Academy August 31st. Others will graduate Thursday. All bathrooms/lockers equipped with locks.
Dispatchers potentially being absorbed into PD, supposed to happen next year with new budget, but Mello took them over already.
Eboard meeting in June, will discuss at next monthly meeting.
Chief happy with station maintenance on Fridays.
Money is freed up to spend now, so if there are any supplies or equipment needs, see Waz.

Advisory meeting of some sort with retirees who know a lot about the pension to guide newer members and ready-to-retire members on what to look for/expect/plan for.
